I forged a chef’s knife. She’s the most beautiful knife ever. It was super cool and very hot! The forge and kiln are 1400 plus degrees! . It took 9 hours of work. Trying to add maximize my skill set. One day I’ll make a sword!

The Blood of Dragons pie I made for my neighborhood block party last weekend. It was pretty excellent if I do say so myself.

This weekend I made a bonfire cake for a bonfire party. It was black cocoa cake with a vanilla and orange/malort (for my millenial pals…I’m not normally a fan of that particular potion, but I liked this a lot!) cream filling with chocolate buttercream icing and vanilla flames.

In The Night Kitchen at The Scary Godmother’s House….My first attempt at milkbread danish. Flavors are sweet Goat cheese with various jams. There’s a couple raspberry, gooseberry, blood orange marmalade and a couple pistachio cream and a couple of lemon curd.
Multiple parking lots and a stream of cars full of people who also won’t get inside to see Bernie. This actually gives me hope. Show up on Saturday ,too, Wisconsin!
