“In the governor’s bed.”

“Damned lunatic!”

“With the governor sleeping next to her.”

The night quiet was broken by the high, distant trill of a whistle, the traditional swarming noise of city watches everywhere. Several other whistles joined in a few moments later.

“It is possible,” said Locke with a sheepish grin, “that I have been slightly too bold.”

I would love a look into the mind of the person who orders a single, loose can on Mountain Dew on the internet. This raises so many questions.

Sales sheet from the now sold out SINGLE CAN of Mountain Dew on Woot. It confirmes that the item on offer is, indeed, one (1) 12oz can of Mountain Dew. It shows sales from California and Pennsylvania, color coded to show fewer sales from CA, and more from PA, suggesting at least three cans were sold. The screenshot also shows that the first sale was made just 1m 50.998s after the listing went live. Incredible scenes.

It may shock you to learn that the "muh 2nd amendment!!" folks are completely fine with the police seizing firearms when they infer that the owners were not white.
