Happy launch day too @mimicsnmisfits.com!! I am excited to get my hands on this. I had this item at #paxunplugged and it was this magic tome that basically was a magic butler. Also, it could store things like a giant flood for later. Like the books from Addams Family Values.

Came out at work today as Chase (he/they). Wrote this. “I say I am a man—my voice still shakes, truth in my chest like a fault line breaks. Joy can be heavy, sharp and grand, even good feelings are hard to stand. I’m doing this scared, but I still begin, afraid, yet braver than I’ve ever been.”

My first attempt at dairy free tiramisu. It’s my favorite, and when I found out it was my beloveds I knew I had to give this a go. I used maple coffee for soaking.Cream Cheese, oat cream, coconut cream and vanilla bean paste made the yummiest filling. We had it for dinner last night! 100/10 #foodsky

Went to my favorite natural grocer today which is about 1.5 hrs from me. I try to get here monthly. Today I spent 30 minutes picking out chocolate for my wife, beloved and lover. I am grateful this place exists, so I can still spoil my sweeties, and be conscious of what I feed them. #polylife

Cardamom Bundt cake with coffee glaze from 100 Morning Treats by Sarah Kieffer! I was able to make it dairy free (sour cream and heavy cream were called for). Also added some instant coffee to glaze to bump up the flavor a bit. First Bundt and it didn’t stick! #foodsky

Chase, what is all that nonsense in your kitchen counter? Funny you should ask, I could not find the chocolate jimmies so obviously I had to empty the cabinets and thus rearrange everything? The jimmies ended up being on the kitchen table because I took them out earlier to make it easier. #foodsky

All of my teapots and their associated cups. Not pictured is my Gōngfū chá set with includes my small tea tray and accessories and a 2016 Jingmai Mountain PUERH tea cake. I am still on the search for a tea pet, and it would bring me so much joy to have one of my own soon. #foodsky #teatime

A clear glass teapot. This teapot is made for flowering teas and display as you want to see the tea flowers bloom. The cups for this set of two double walled blown glass cups. The inner wall is shaped like a bear so when you pour into them the outline of a bear head appears.

A teracotta teapot with two small tea cups and saucers. The terracotta is a warm and deep sepia color and there is a thick band of marbled clay on the pot, lid and cups which draws attentions to the deep orange of the clay. This pot is only for black tea. Black tea will naturally stain the pot over time and because these have to be handled delicately you will not be able to “wash away” the black tea flavor.

My Gongfu tea pot and small cups. This pot was the first one I got after my first tea ceremony years ago. It was blessed by the tea master and is a pride of my collection. I exclusively use this with my puerh tea cake. Puerh tea cakes are traditional, compressed, and often fermented tea leaves from Yunnan, China, prized for their earthy, woody, and complex flavors that improve with age, often described as "drinkable antiques". This pot is a small gray pot with a stem that resembles bamboo and a bamboo motif on the outside inf the pot. The small cups are a speckled brown and grey.

This teapot is my most elaborate. It is hand painted bone china. The hand painted texture brings out the vibrancy in the flowers and gold gilding around the edges of the pot and cups, as well as the handles. There are 4 tea cups but only two saucers. I have never been able to replace them as the hand painted nature of the pot makes it difficult to replace.

Slow mornings with my wife means espresso zabaglione with the Moka pot and cinnamon rolls. Our favorite Italian band playing on the radio and we get to have our time before she goes to work and I go to my beloved‘s. P.S. This is one of the best espressos I’ve had.

Today’s #polylife is cooking birthday dinner for someone in my polycule while blasting Green Day and dancing around the kitchen with my wife. Despite the horrors of life, we persist and show up for one another. I’m so proud of this dairy free Mac and cheese w/ smoked garlic breadcrumbs! #foodsky

Finally got around to organizing my tea cabinet tonight. This is just one drawer. These are all non medicinal loose leaf tea blends. While some have lemon balm and marshmallow root etc. they mostly just taste yummy. Tomorrow I unpack my teapots, and yes only certain teas go in certain pots.

Breakfast is complete! I had a shake and made my wife mulled cider (pro tip: put mulling spices in a reusable tea strainer). Now it’s board game time, one of my favorite things to do and share with others. Here is the game stack for today. Come #joinin with us!

Good morning #joinin friends. I’m starting my day early as usual. We stay just a hotel every year when we travel back home and this year ours has a waterfall (so peaceful)! Everyone else is still sleeping, so I’m downstairs coloring and playing my switch. I need to find some caffeine!

My wife’s SDiT (service dog in training), has a larger bag than she does when we go away. He needs his pajamas, various harnesses, boots and backup boots, and his favorite blanket and stuffy. He may work, but he gets a lot of downtime too.

I haven’t been going to the gym, or doing much but work and try to balance my mental health. this past weekend was a good weekend was much needed. I got to play board games with my loves, sleep in and wake up to love and cuddles, and spend a whole day adventuring with my sweet wife. #polylife

It feels good to be able to be both. Go to customer meetings, lead teams but also have the knowledge and drive to get dirty with said team when it’s needed. I will never ask anyone to do something I haven’t or won’t do. Today was hands and knees on the stockroom floor with power tools.

Something seemingly innocuous, but made me take a pause this morning. As I was gathering my stuff to leave my beloved’s I went to move a piece of hair off the bed, except it was both of ours. One bright and fiery red, one shimmery and bold silver. Twisted.intertwined.Curled around the other. 🥰

10 years without my Grammy today. I find myself doing more things like you everyday. Making food to care for others and bring joy into their lives, looking for any chance to be around friends and family and most of all learning to show other grace and kindness. I think you’d be proud.

Days 11-20 out of 100. Life has been more challenging than I feel like I can handle most days, but im showing up, in the ways that I can. The gym has become my place, a place where I can put all my emotions into the sweat leaving my body. Showing up there is putting me first.
