Something came up on here early last year I think about privies. Managed to get the book in the picture. Has a whole piece telling the story of the nightsoil man in my One-Place Study of St Mary Bourne. He was a distant relative too.

Here's the transcription from the room with the 'close stool" which I think was the ladies bedroom over £25 worth. The whole inventory is £111 7s in 1611. Would love to know why it took 3 years to do the inventory as she died in 1608.
