I love Michael Giacchino as a composer (especially in his superhero works) but it sadly disappoints me how forgettable I found his new music for Brand New Day. But when he's reincorporating the Home trilogy themes that's when it works soo well for me and just hits the spot.

An aspect of BND I like was how much Peter kept his mask on as Spider-man Actors would ALWAYS want to take it off to show their face, yet Tom Holland manages to keep it on majority of the movie and we still connect to him. We even see his eyes through the lense. Reminds me alot of The Batman

This is my Gore Verbinski ranking (including his student short film), overall I had a blast watching his movies. He's very versatile in different budgets & genres but still fees his touch. Hope he makes another movie soon, I really want to watch a Verbinski movie in THEATRES

My final Verbinski movie left to watch. It's been a unique ride through different genre's & tones made in his style. After 9 years of being in directors jail, he's returned to remind people why he's grear. Hope it's good, wish me- #NW Good Luck, Have Fun, Don't Die

3 Odyssey's and a Verbinski

Took over a week break to prepare for Odyssey, so with that out of the way I can finally continue. Now this movie seems to be infamous due to being "soo bad" it's considered to be the start of Verbinski' downfall. He hasn't made a bad movie before, so to find out I'll watch- #NW The Lone Ranger

Me and my irl friends have booked our tickets for Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey, I'M WATCHING ON TUESDAY!!! This is special cause not only it's gonna be my first IMAX (not 70MM sadly) theatre experience but ALSO my first ever Nolan movie IN THEATRES

Ulysses and Dumbo I watched this week

apperently WB liked Abrams movie soo much they wanted to make 70MM IMAX prints for it, so it got delayed to where The Batman Part 2 was supposed to release

I hope to one day yearn like how Will yearns for Elizabeth, I love them soo much they're adorable ❤️ and the music gets me everytime

Happy 23rd anniversary to PotC: Curse of the Black Pearl. Crazy at 1 point people didn't have faith in this & Michael Eisner was gonna cancel it after Country Bears failed. But 1 look at the concept arts was all he needed to have faith. It's one of the best blockbusters & a favourite film of mine.

A Rango appreciation post, I just love how it's designs and environment look. Don't see many PG animated movies looking like this nor have it's tone nowadays, which is a bummer. Any Rango fans out here!

I've now learned there was an extended scene for this that got cut, happy with what we got but this is neat. Wild after falling that high he just runs off the pain

Happy 20th anniversary to one of my favourite movies: Dead Man's Chest. It has everything, raises the stakes, great character work, a compelling villain who still looks excellent, really great action set pieces, the best score in the series, and just the most beautiful blockbuster I've ever seen

Pirates of the Caribbean truely was a great trilogy, glad I can finally rest knowing they've been viewed by me. I love the villain variety, visuals are gorgous blockbusters, the comedy is great, the stakes rise naturally, and our heroes go on well meaning arcs. I love them 🏴‍☠️

This is it, the end to the Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy. There are few trilogy ends I like (partially cause I need to watch more film trilogies), so I'm excited (and worried) to end this trilogy- #NW Pirates of the Caribbean At Worlds End
