And now I've got an even better one! Stumbled upon a local author signing at Barnes and Noble, bought their book and had a lovely chat sharing other book recs! They didn't know @wiswell.bsky.social or @pluralistic.net.web.brid.gy @scalzi.com, but their sci fi fantasy sounds right up that alley.

I did it! I cooked dinner!!!! You have to understand, we've been married for over 13 years. I am scared of kitchen accidents, especially burns, to the point of phobia. By my count, I've cooked a full meal maybe 10 times in our relationship. But I made @mbrobergmoffitt.bsky.social bolognese!

I've made focaccia two weekends in a row!

Two round pans of focaccia. This batch turned out dense due to a recipe typo.

We're excited to jump in and read @mbrobergmoffitt.bsky.social 's book! This is the kid whose only vegetables are pickles and cooked mushrooms. The other loves radishes, but is deeply suspicious of anything new.
