5 Stars. "This is an excellent Shadowdark adventure and an incredibly easy module to adapt into a larger campaign setting. I recently used it as the foundation for the first volume in an ongoing Stoneshatter campaign arc for my local game store, and it worked beautifully.

What really stands out is how efficient the design is. The adventure wastes very little space while still giving the GM enough hooks, atmosphere, and flexibility to make the tomb feel alive. The central story surrounding Prince Barizen and his family is surprisingly memorable for a compact dungeon, and my players became invested almost immediately once they realized the crypt was more tragic than evil.

The structure also supports multiple playstyles well. My group leaned heavily into roleplay and negotiation, and the module handled that shift naturally. The tomb layout, bandit occupation, traps, and environmental storytelling all create a strong sense of place without becoming overly complicated to run.

From a GM perspective, this is exactly the kind of Shadowdark adventure I want more of: concise, atmospheric, easy to prep, easy to customize, and filled with just enough lore to inspire bigger ideas without over-explaining everything.

Highly recommended for convention play, one-shots, side adventures, or as the starting point for a larger campaign. Rumor in the tavern is that there will be related titles in the future!!"

Our poor fur baby has been limping for a few weeks, so we have had him sedated and on rest as much as possible to heal. Nothing was improving, so off to a specialist we went yesterday. At 6 months, he's been diagnosed with elbow dysplasia in both his front legs. This is going to be a rough road.

Yesterday was for teaching jiu jitsu, working on takedowns using vests/harnesses (for reasons), and protesting ICE here in Portland. Today is for recharging with the puppy so I can do it all over again tomorrow. Resist -> Recharge -> Repeat
