Managed a quick trip to Pike Place Market today. Quickly reminded how delicious Turkish Delight is. This lamb stew was so tender and flavorful I instantly burned my mouth and tongue. Worth it!

I got a new PSP game! I didn't know this was available on the handheld. Even got it complete, which felt like a good deal.

No matter how I feel about the holiday today, it's still tradition to eat burgers or hot dogs. So I made turkey burgers with green onion and garlic. Should be tasty

Got more books at Powell's (shocking, I know). Mostly horror, plus a couple volumes by the talented Mr. Remender!

Picked up some neat stuff at Double Jump Games earlier today. I honestly didn't even know a couple of these had physical editions!

I'm in sunny (and I REALLY mean that) Portland! Visiting some good friends and trying not to burn to a crisp. Should be fun!

Even though I thankfully never suffered from food insecurity, I learned to not be wasteful from my elders. So the other day I saved some excess white rice. Turned it into a delicious burrito. I'd call it a breakfast burrito, but I had it for lunch. Yum

I feel like this sort of signage would work marvelously in a movie where Hello Kitty becomes a rampaging kaiju. I'd watch it!

So first I was told my copy of the new Yoshi was delayed. And then a while ago this arrived. Good! I need something chill to relax with.

Just got this for dinner from my local store. Chili beef ramen. SO tasty, but I might be suffering later. Worth it though

Oh and after the show, got drinks with other good gamers at The Nest. Though their food menu was limited, they had tasty drinks and an unbeatable view.

I'm usually bad at keeping up with game related events other than PAX West. But thanks to @caseyscheld.bsky.social , last night I got to attend The Music of Square Enix concert! Great music and company, and even got some swag. Also might have caught a bug from public transit, but that's life.

Its Cinco de Mayo, and we celebrate immigrants in my home. So I'm in the midst of making burritos for dinner! Already made my own guacamole, now I'm putting the finishing touches on ground turkey. Gonna be a tasty meal

Double punched my man card today. Really fun sequel with amazing actors and surprising cameos!

It's curry time again! Always based on Japanese style, just cause I know how to make it. This one is quirky with multicolored carrots and yellow and red onion. Only mild concern is it's a new brand of coconut milk, so fingers crossed!

Episode 8012 of cooking fish is easy and tasty. Beautiful piece of salmon that's now baking in the oven!

Even though I'm sad I missed my dual horror romps, I just got back from Project Hail Mary. Outstanding sci-fi adventure, and Gosling was great as always. Highly recommend it. My next film HAS to be Mario Galaxy. It's happening!

Tried out a nearby Pakistani food truck for dinner. Got a really tasty, undeniably middle eastern burger and samosas. Foolishly forgot to take pics of my order but got some of the food truck itself!

Just went to a Potbelly Sandwich for lunch. Saw this as I was checking out. Happy to see fellow gamer nerds work there 😁

Got a new toy while I was out. Lately I don't buy fighting games unless I can play with someone. But I also loved old school Tekken, and this would be the first fighter I own on PSP. So I got it!

Last time I made potato salad, it wasn't great. So I redeemed myself today. Used two types of mayo (one infused with kimchee), pickles, celery, sauteed onions and various seasonings. Turned out well!
