Shout-out to Allentown International airport for selling every inch of space to local businesses.
Update! I made it to Allentown PA airport and I'm in love. The prices are like.. reasonable? My flights on time? And I'm the only one at the bar. They also have a little free library!!!
If you're traveling within the US, and look at public transit, see if you can get to a better spot from the weather. Or to a better spot to go around. Be creative with cities. There are still bus and train systems that run, they're just slower. Big connection cities = lots of options
K so it's been a like.. journey so far but right now I'm waiting on a bus to Pennsylvania. First step is DO NOT CANCEL YOUR FLIGHT. Even if the airline cancelled it, do NOT cancel your flight/ticket because then they do not have to help you, at all. The apps will make cancelling real easy. Don't.
Forgot to check a section of the garden for a week and well guess I'm making golden pickles
We've been playing games again. For fun. Shocker, I know This week it's been Jekyll & Hyde vs Scotland Yard, a co-op two player trick taker that makes me now want to murder Steve. (Yes I play Hyde, why do you ask?)
It is garden time! I'm already having to harvest and freeze celery and chard. Every meal has lettuce right now. Still working through last year's canned/frozen tomatoes. This year I'm going to get me a jar of beans from my garden!

The 6 Types of Working Genius: A Better Way to Understand Your Gifts, Your Frustrations, and Your Team By Patrick Lencioni Audiobook edition 4h 11m • audio I won't shut up about this one. Everyone should read this if they ever interact with humans ever, not just in business.
Purple Cow: Transform Your Business by Being Remarkable By Seth Godin Audiobook edition 2h 59m • audio This is a classic on marketing but I hadn't read it yet. Basically, be different. Think outside the box. Throw a pizza party instead of have a premier presentation ;)
The Five Dysfunctions of a Team: A Leadership Fable By Patrick Lencioni It's a story hiding amazing business advice about team work? Or business advice hiding in a story? A classic must-read for anyone in a team, not just leaders. (I def went on a Patrick Lencioni bend last year.)
The Age of Magical Overthinking: Notes on Modern Irrationality By Amanda Montell with Amanda Montell (Narrator) Audiobook edition 6h 5m • audio Fantastic book on how the modern information age is giving us all anxiety. Funny and sharp, shows how cycles of hate and love online happen.

They're making me play Decrypto in French. This isn't going to go great, ya all.
I've been home sleeping for two days now and this is as far as we've gotten. But he's determined to get the microwave in tonight!
Tried to do one of those cute harvest pictures but it turns out my garden says no. Only potato.
Walking Pneumonia is still kicking my ass but I had enough energy to kick Steve's ass at Architects of Amytis so there's that
Playing a Gen Con release to finish my workday because this is technically work.
I rated 3 books as 5 stars in May and I forgot to share them. A Gentleman in Moscow was long but delightful and made me add to my read list. Recursion I read in a single day, I could not put it down. Cats Cradle was.. so surreally perfect in how well it's aged.
Played Floristry last night! Definitely good and interesting, and the required phone as bidding tool works great. Definitely recommend for a quick casual game, for stores and cafes. Designed by David Gordon and TAM.
