There is no greater propaganda machine than the US food industry. Health organizations funded by the very industries that cause the diseases that these same organizations claim to be combating. This all under the umbrella of the USDA and government agencies. Rewatched this gem today. Worth a look.

Once the paint comes out it’s hard to capture the texture with a picture. These are some small pieces with the first pass of texture, collaged fabric and paper. Before the sander comes out. A good two days to dry completely. #art #painting

This is Henry. He built himself a tent out of packing paper. He guarded it with his life. Also, I don’t think you can own a cat, they are the boss, always.

I was skeptical about a prequel to Mystery Road. The original show and the films with Aaron Pedersen were good. I can now say that the first season of MR Origin was as good as the first season of Mystery Road.

It’s #caturday and here’s a snapshot of Ruben with his arm around his sister Lil’ P. This is a rare, likely one time only event that needed documentation. Lil’P does not like to share her space.

I staple the raw canvas to the wall and prime them before painting. Paint never cracks. If it did it (oil) would be due to applying thinned out paint over heavy paint that hasn’t dried. Something that can happen whether it’s been stretched or not.

I’ve been going through my inventory of finished works. Today I repainted this entire canvas. Using none of the under painting, which is rare for me. Oil on canvas 54x54 #art #painting

Back at the vets again with Jaco today. Still there. Urinary blockage. Spasms not crystals. A couple of possible solutions. One is medication the other is surgery. They will likely keep him over the weekend. Nothing worse than a sick fur baby. #cats
