I’m old enough to remember when cable came out. It was marketed as a service with a bunch of new channels that you didn’t have to watch ads on because you were paying the monthly fee. Gradually, those channels became inundated with ads, as well. Streaming is the same product, broken into pieces.

I don’t understand how the expected turnout was so underestimated. In MO, after we check in to vote, we get to pick which ballot we want (Rep, Dem, Non-Partisan, etc.) Lots of folks picked Dem or Non-Partisan—suggesting that Rs are either weighing in on the Dems or telling their party to eff-off.

He was so hungry he tried to eat a glob of marshmallow my son accidentally dropped in the grass (got it all over his face.) Yes. The vet WAS fantastic, and she saved her life. She is nearly back to her old self now. Just a weird chain of events that dominoed into her digestion shutting down and her not being able to eat or drink and dehydrating. Had to get her system moving again. No blockage or surgery, though. 🙏

Back home after spending the weekend in the hospital. She appears to have had a series of events that shut her GI tract down & left her severely dehydrated. She is better now, but still not at 100%. So far, we are $5k in & more to come. All healthcare is broken. #AmberTheTortie #CatsOfBluesky

Our princess is sick. 😟 Started vomiting Wed night, & at the vet twice on Thurs, all day today. Vomiting stopped, but gagging & can’t eat or drink. Foster kitten update: It’s been almost a week now & the kittens have lost a LOT of their skittishness about the tall hairless giants that bring them food and fun. They all four seek out cuddles and pets now. Shouldn’t be long before these kids are ready for adoption! #CatsOfBluesky #FosterCats
