Just finished No. 4 in my botanical soul series. I plan to paint all the edges purple as part of my signature. Normally, I would carry the art around the edges, but I do most of these while I’m working on camera, trying to be inconspicuous.

Me finding joy in the small corners of my everyday mundane life. Joy is resistance. My wfh space keeps me sane. The ambient light that filters in through my hanging plants and all my pretty junk.

I’ve been busy. Working and painting. This is a mixed media painting on birch wood panel. I used gouache,color pencils, acrylic markers, and oil pastels.

My daily drawing challenge for October’s Drawtober/Inktober blah blah blah... The first is a chrysanthemum simply because they aren't easy for me to draw. The second image is inspired by my love of fungi and fantasy. Mediums used: ink, watercolor, and pencil.

Just found out today that my favorite medium for oils is discontinued. I feel so betrayed by my favorite oil paint brand. I must be late to this news too, because I tried to find it and buy up what was left and I can’t find it anywhere. 😭
