This may or may not be a valuable limited edition print 🤷 The frame is good quality (and I think it's heavy but two MEN have informed me it is not) but I really dislike the style and I don't like a wide matte on a smaller piece. I'll be putting the print in a cheap plain black frame.
A crew will be shutting our water off for a while so we broke out some of my prepper gear.
We named him Nibbler because of Futurama but it ended up being a case of nominative determinism.
An unfortunate little deceased bee. Not sure of the species (maybe a leafcutter?), but its death does give me an unusual opportunity to examine it closely.
I haven't cut my undershave in ages and I went ahead and bleached and dyed it, and I think right now it's giving "pastel Kate Gosselin" which I don't love. But I'm just going to let it do what it wants for a while and see where I end up. I'm not afraid of a buzz cut in my future.
@heyscoops.bsky.social Slurpie and I are at an antique store. @thefamouspaul.bsky.social any interest? ;)
This little friend showed up last night and was still in the same spot this afternoon. I didn't think its prospects on our door were very good, so I moved it over into one of the trees.
The front office staff at my vet are very cute but not great at paperwork.
My dog had no prey drive at all so she wouldn't have hurt this one, but you don't get to be a massive groundhog by taking chances with apex predators.
Fellow grownups: this toy is for ages 3+ and is one of the most soothing things I've played with in a long time.
Oh lord, the white nationalism has even spread to our processed cheese products.
I should probably open up the left one and smooth out the background, but overall I'm happy with my solution 🤷
I bought this container to put cat treats in and I'm going to buy googly eyes for it, if that helps.
Yesterday I stumbled across some of my mom's sketches that had been packed up so long I forgot they existed. She died in late 2021 and I am grateful to still have so many of these reminders. Later today I'm going to pick up a display case for some of her pottery.
Back in 2019 someone posted this still and I noticed that this man had ten fried eggs on his plate by counting the yolks. I wonder if his heart has given out yet?
His sister crawled into his Big Boi carrier so he's stuck hiding in her average-sized one.
This thing is an unused vending machine insert promoting Phantom Menace. It's supposedly worth some cash on the collector market, but transporting it is a huge pain in the ass. It's now been moved...four times? Five? I'm worried I will die with it in my house.
I've gotten text messages about joining CBP and I have to hope they're scams or honeypots and not a legit method of recruitment. Googling the numbers turns up bupkis.
I saw this one today that looks like it was decorated using painter's tape. I usually see them parked way outside the lines so that aspect was actually refreshing.
