The Whiner is surrounded by the incompetent, the oblivious and the incomprehensible. Friends say he should do stand-up. But he'd rather just sit here and type. (Also: CML, CVID, married with a talented daughter-musician, and servant to a very spoiled cat.)
I still have the souvenir coin from the 1971 Oakland game which was the first home game at Foxboro. (I was there for an exhibition game the previous month, too.)
Congrats :) Ours had senior prom last weekend and graduates in a few weeks. It doesn't seem right that it all happened so quickly, but it helps me to look at the bright side: at least the whole year-long college research/application/acceptance ordeal is over!
@honestlarry.bsky.social Last night was disappointing, but at least earlier in the day, I took my daughter for herfinal campus visit/interview/audition today and got to do a bit of sightseeing.
I hate to admit it, but at least there's a decent second place finisher.
