Been a quite few weeks, but I’m hard at work on my Rivals character, Kromael! He’s feature complete now and just needs some TLC before I run playtest sessions. After that, ill do a final art pass before publishing!
Been making steady progress on my rivals character since the start of the summer! Will be sharing more when I can sit down and properly record a video, but for now: Rough pass of Kromael's Puppet and one of it's special moves. It pulls you into the painting before exploding!
plus, Muse, his clone! im still figuring out how best to implement him into Kromael's moveset, but im leaning towards giving him puppet character elements (because making full on puppet characters is pretty challenging)
Progress! - Rough art for most movement and HUD/CSS elements - Stats tweaked from template character - Palettes Implemented current goal is to get roughs of normals and specials implemented so I can run a few playtests with friends, then tweak as needed before polished animations
And on the topic of comics, designing some characters for another personal project 👀
