One positive of living in a tourist resort is that pubs give you a discount because they know you live there- a pint of Faith is ace, a pint of Faith for less than the last fella paid is wonderful!
PSA: Don't drive on the beach! This is the 2nd car that's got stuck there in as many months (the police are here and they have about 3 hours until the tide reaches where they are, if they can get a tractor quickly, they might get lucky and get pulled out)
There's too much behind this pic for a single post, but this is probably my favourite pic I've ever taken. Love Trees, love Trees Santa, love music and pals
It's a bit hot here, lads. But got to see Blackgold in my fave place to watch music in the world as well as a few other bands (shout out Split Chain and Love Rarely)! Let's see if I survive tomorrow!
Pre @2000trees.bsky.social social in a gorgeous pub in Cheltenham! My favourite weekend of the year is here 🥰🥰🥰
In our fave local dive bar and a stag party has collided with a hen party. I need earplugs.
Had a windy time on my lunchtime walk today, which means lively seas and KITESURFERS!
It's #stouterday, and that means a banoffee pie stout by Wilde Child- like drinking banana bread
❤️ Watching a national treasure for maybe the last time- and more bands should have canine stage invaders
1 2 3 4 5ive'll make you GET DOWN (That was mint and my younger self hates me hahaha)
Ever wanted to see a brass band playing Limp Bizkit? Well, you're seeing it anyway
Wasn't expecting to find conspiracy theory graffiti in a hotel pub outside Stoke
Last night in Prague, so had to visit Vŷtopna, where your food and drink are delivered by little trains 😍😍😍
My wonderful wife modelling Willy Wonka (dark lager) and a chilli lager. The chilli lager is lovely and a lot hotter than a lager should be. Willi Wonka is lovely- a slightly chocolate tasting lager. Genuinely good shit.
Back in one of our fave European pubs- Craft House in Prague. 20-odd beers on tap, a well stocked fridge and very cheap considering it's like 5 minutes from Wenceslas Square (our 2 pints cost under 8 quid!)
Learnings from today's jaunt around Parague Zoo -Capybaras, porcupines and giant tortoises are a lot bigger than I thought -Tortoises have loud sex -Polar bears seem fine in 26° heat Some random pics, too. Genuinely great day, it's a brilliant zoo.
Looks like someone has goofed this morning (they might get lucky though, the tide has only about 15 minutes left before it starts receeding, usually it would be well past there at high tide!)
The good beers and good company (my wife) bits of the weekend have been achieved- in Blackpool's only pub with an onsite brewery
