Toronto offers experience year round! Winter activities include car dodging on ice covered mobility lanes.
Police in Canada will testify on behalf of the defense about how "inconsolable" the driver who just murdered someone was in order to reduce or eliminate any sentence (as was the case here) www.ctvnews.ca/toronto-driv...
When a person on a mobility device is crushed by a driver, the @ottawacitizen.com calls that an “e-scooter collision” because then their auto industry advertisers will keep sending them that sweet sweet money.
Bradford was an honoured guest at the 96th Ontario Road Builders Association in February 2023. He suddenly changed his messaging about prioritizing cars shortly after that. Weird coincidence!
“Show me Toronto in one picture“ Easter egg: the streetcar stuck behind a left turning car in the background
Doing my part with 10 of them being mine, on this route from YorkU to Leslieville. Side note-trying to cross the 401 is an absolute nightmare. Passed a ghost bike on Bayview just south of the 401.
Even a show as progressive as Hacks makes sure to show that when a pedestrian is struck by a driver, it’s always the pedestrian’s fault.
At teacher’s college in the late 90’s we were told if we didn’t teach math the “new” way our students would be left behind. Reminds me a lot of the AI sales pitch. Let’s see how that worked out:
Caught 2 people breaking 5/7 of your rules! -not looking left or right -not visible in those dark clothes -distracted by eating -not wearing helmets -put themselves in danger even with the right of way
Very Toronto to build a new venue that punishes you for choosing to take transit with a 1.1 km(!) walk. Bonus marks for naming it in a way that Google shows you the wrong location that is literally an hour away (unless you drive, then it’s 40 minutes). Could not pay me to go there.
