Oregonians deserve a governor who shows up when it matters. I will always do my job and stand up for you.
Unsheltered homelessness in Central Oregon is down 19% over the past year. We have more work to do, but we’re moving in the right direction because of real investment and real partnerships.
Today, I announced my support for local moratoriums on new data center development across Oregon.
We are making progress on fighting climate change, advancing a clean energy future, and protecting what makes Oregon the place we love. But that progress is on the line this November. As your Governor, I will keep fighting for a more sustainable future for every Oregonian.
Christine Drazan's effort to upend our fair and secure vote-by-mail elections confirms what we already know: she will take Donald Trump’s orders from day one. As your Governor, I will always choose the needs of Oregonians over Trump’s agenda.
Oregon deserves a governor who will always stand up for our state. Together, we’ve proven we can take on Donald Trump and win. Christine Drazan has stood with him every step of the way. This November, the choice is clear - because Oregon's values are on the ballot.
President Trump punished Oregonians because of how we voted, plain and simple. But no matter what is happening in D.C., I will always fight to protect Oregon's workers, our economy, and our clean energy future. Read more: www.tinafororegon.com/news/court-f...
When Donald Trump unlawfully tried to put troops in Portland, I took action to stand up for Oregonians. Christine Drazan stood with Trump instead.
Every time Donald Trump attacks Oregon, I will fight back with every tool I have. This election is about who will fight for Oregon's values, protect our people, and defend our rights. As your Governor, I will always stand up for Oregon. Join us: tinafororegon.com
When President Trump deployed masked federal agents into Oregon communities, my MAGA opponent, Christine Drazan, didn’t say a word against it. In fact, she was absent when a bill to prohibit federal agents from wearing masks was up for a vote.
Earlier today, I took action to immediately stop insurance companies from canceling or refusing to renew homeowners insurance policies for Oregonians affected by the wildfire emergency.
As wildfires impact communities across Oregon, we can all do our part to support our neighbors and the people working on the front lines. For info on how you can help, visit: orvid.oregon.gov
I'm looking forward to three televised debates in Portland, Eugene, and Medford.
I banned cellphones in Oregon schools, invested in the science of reading with our teachers, and am working with experts to chart a path to universal preschool statewide. And high school graduation rates last year reached a record high.
In Oregon, our mail-in voting system has successfully delivered fair, free, and secure elections for over 25 years. I look forward to making sure that Oregonians have their voices heard this November.
Running a small business isn't easy. From Trump's tariffs driving up costs to corporations squeezing out the competition, Oregon’s small businesses have been fighting an uphill battle. But they don’t have to fight it alone.
Oregon is worth believing in, worth showing up for, and worth fighting for. That's why I'm in this race, and I'll never back down.
As we see attacks on the LGBTQ+ community happening across the country, we can't afford to assume our rights will always be there. Progress isn't permanent - we have to protect it. That's why I'll never stop fighting to make sure Oregon remains a place where everyone belongs.
Happy Pride, Portland! The First Lady and I had a blast celebrating with you. Let’s keep fighting for an Oregon where everyone feels safe and welcomed.
Oregon is a state that fights for its values. I blocked President Trump's National Guard deployment, defended SNAP, protected reproductive rights, and secured abortion medication for the long haul. We aren’t done yet, and we won’t back down.
When you're sick, the last thing you should worry about is whether federal agents are waiting outside your hospital room. I signed a law requiring Oregon hospitals to protect patients from federal law enforcement. As long as I’m governor, I'll always fight to ensure you can get the care you need.
Oregon now has more residents over 65 than children under 18. We joined the AARP Network of Age-Friendly States because every Oregonian deserves to age well, wherever they call home.
Before I was Governor, I worked at Oregon Food Bank. I know the stories of what it means when families can't put food on the table.
For older Oregonians on fixed incomes, a broken furnace or failing roof can mean losing their home. I launched a program to repair and stabilize 1,000 homes so older Oregonians can stay in the communities they've called home for decades.
Oregon has voted by mail for almost 30 years. It's safe, it's secure, and it works. I will always protect it.
And when the courts ordered Trump to restore SNAP benefits, my team worked through the night to make sure Oregonians had money in their accounts the next morning. As your Governor, I will always have your back and defend Oregon against unlawful actions.
The First Lady and I had fun celebrating Independence Day in Independence! Happy 250, America!
Happy Fourth of July, Oregon! Today, we celebrate our freedoms and the people who make both America and Oregon so special. Loving your country means showing up for your community. It means protecting our freedoms, supporting our neighbors, and working to build a better future together.
Oregon’s police academy had a seven-month backlog, keeping trained recruits off the streets. I directed the Department of Public Safety Standards and Training to fix it, and they did by adding classes, expanding capacity, and eliminating the wait. As of 2024, the backlog was gone.
