did you know? the box art for モンハン日記 G and DX versions incorrectly depicts the shimmering eyes option "cross-eyed", whereas the original game's box shows them both oriented the same way, like in the actual game (albeit flipped horizontally)
particularly notable is this set which I have to assume is an homage to the notorious utah teapot they seem to use it as their debug/missing-model model, and I don't think it appears in-game
monster hunter diary maps but now with objects and vertex colors and better transparency and this game is so freaking adorable I just can't get over it raaaaaaaaaaaa
did u know? poogie poogie poogie poogie poogie poogie poogie poogie poogie poogie poogie poogie poogie poogie poogie poogie poogie poogie poogie poogie poogie
my apologies this was obviously the King Gainer from Overman King Gainer, featured on the box art no less
this angelic gundam fella is chillin' in the files of Monster Hunter Diary (from Another Century's Episode Portable, probably)
cool bug fact: vanilla ACVI tries to load a system properties file if present, which you can use to pick your favorite title screen and still play in online mode
there's this walking path in my neighborhood, and some beleaguered civil engineer decided to just route it through a culvert, pour in a couple extra inches of concrete, and call it a day unsurprisingly, it floods at the slightest provocation and it's honestly kind of epic
you might think this is some weird bug related to the mid/heavy load transition, but no, they just inexplicably assigned a lower multiplier at 0.5 on the dot it also affects jumps, jumping attacks, some r2s, the fall recovery roll, and even some blocking animations (but not sprinting, for example)
@treacherousfiend on the discord discovered that in ds1, being at exactly 50% equip load makes some animations like running attacks cover less distance than being either below /or/ above it
