Kinda disappointing the webpage works like this though. I did all the tinkering hoping the layout would look more like this instead of what it actually does. I feel like when i watch youtube 4:3 videos they manage to like properly wrap everything around it.

expectation - 4:3 video player fills up the web page on the left of the chat section.

what twitch actually does: inserts black bars into the web player to maintain a similar layout as if you're streaming 16:9 video.

Ok so twitch 4:3 streams apparently still force black bars if you view them on the channel page, it doesn't seem to adjust the layout of stream/chat/bio. But the 'popout stream' option DOES make the cool satisfying little 4:3 window so that's neat!

Got a bit into act 2 of silksong, around 15 hours clocked or so. Loving it all so much. Kind of reminds me of my first playthrough of elden ring, just this big sprawling world full of secrets, taking my time trying to comb through every bit of it. Ton of awesome bosses at this point. also awooo
