Some friends want to see more Old World on the table and are pushing me back to working on the forest dragon. Still hurts to hold it, but I reckon I can make quick progress on it and have it finished finally.

My Sternguard brick got nerfed before I could finish them. Oh well, they're sick, but I felt like starting my Vanguard Veterans the past couple of days. Whatever keeps me motivated lol

At the halfway point with the Sternguard squad now, though I want more scars across the squad. I still need to figure out where I'll put them, I want them to blend in with the other squad I already have painted.

Hehe, after enough rogue purchases (including the one below) I believe I should finish my other projects first. Still, one day! And yeah, they gave two free boxes, one for each army. Neither army ended up being for me in the end, I mainly play Nords now.

I didn't just paint a Sternguard Vet today, I painted two! Pretty fast even for my own pace. They'll get more freehand later once I can see the whole squad but they are very fun to paint and I love the older helmets.

Land Speeder finished! Think I'll be treating myself to a second once the kit is out separately, I already want to do different patterns and effects with it. Minis finished: 135

A little late night update, as a treat. Got the pilot and gunner for the land speeder done. The main chassis is next, I kinda want to figure out how to do OSL jets on the back.

I own way too many Jump Pack Intercessors on sprue so I figured I'd get them assembled but every single pack has massive gaps aaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Mini 129, the third Assault Terminator done, and my last 2 Sternguard assembled. Going to get the airbrush out on Sunday and start getting layers down.

A late night update, I try to stick to daytime posting but honestly? I just wanna show off my Marines. Armageddon fully assembled, and three of five Sternguard built. Every single one feels like the star of the show, I can't wait to get started on these!

Finally starting to cool down a bit, so I started painting a Captain last night. Really love this sculpt, huge table presence. Also more progress on getting Armageddon assembled.

The highlight of the reveal stream was a new Marine Lieutenant obviously. Anyway, Veteran Squad built. Putting them with a jump captain is gonna be fun!

Building my way through the heat wave. Every sculpt so far has been a joy to work on, I've been doing everything to make the most of them. It's a major step up from old push fit kits.

It cooled down a lot today so painting could be done. Took an extra 3 hours longer than I expected, but the rest of the terminators are base coated. I'm so exhausted in this heat though, if I nap I know it's over.

I forgot to collect my melatonin so guess I'm just awake tonight. Oopsie. Well anyway, the new Captain and Librarian are built, they look incredible!

Two more Ghouls finished, up to 126 minis year to date. Must keep better records of what I've gotten finished, rather than just tracking it in posts on here.

My second Assault Terminator was base coated and shaded while my room felt like it was over body temperature, I swear I'm not built for this kind of heat swell 😭 I also finished the base of the Anchorite Shrine. Unsure if I'll add more blood effects yet to exaggerate the base. Minis finished: 124

Now with the rules for 11th out in the wild, I saw Assault Terminators with Librarians were doing sustained hits and Dev Wounds, which means I need to take all my Stormseers in a list for this nonsense lol What other silly things will my librarians do, I wonder
