If you want to view the #SolarEclipse, the very best view will be at the junction of Red Lees Rd and Long Causeway in #Cliviger, looking towards #Pendle, with 91.7% totality at 7.09pm — the Diamond ring effect. See below for places in #Todmorden, but it'll be a climb on a very hot day — 28c at 7pm.
I knew there was info on the web about the familiy, you may have it. A quick Google AI search. I tried both Maud Eleanor and Eleanor Maud, the latter produced the response in the image, and a link. As you know, Google AI can get silly so check your results if you try. www.crossleyfamily.net
Right now we are just hovering around the temp it was meant to be yesterday here in #Todmorden, according to wunderground: 27c (-28c) Yesterday we got close to 33c. The cats were sick, it was ugly.
This morning two of my #Cats were struggling in the heat, even though they'd shade and extra fluids. #Heatstroke sickies and poopies are no fun for anyone, let alone #Animals Here's the www.cats.org.uk (Cats Protection) advice on what to do: www.cats.org.uk/help-and-adv... #Todmorden #CatsEverywhere
@chadweather.bsky.social Thank you for sending your last storm up to #Todmorden :) Lots of clatterbangs and a roof rattling thunderbolt came just before this vid, but no sign of lightening. Petrichor and negative ions to lift the spirits and clear out the nasties, though.
It is 28.1c outside now. The wind is coming as de-powered rebounds off the valley walls from the S and W instead of ESE, giving he sun traps an easy time to heat up. If there are no storms tomorrow though, I will be quite upset!
@chadweather.bsky.social Silly rain just now in #Todmorden
Thunder gradulally getting closer, as the #Storm moves up over #Walsden and the rain starts in #Todmorden main. @chadweather.bsky.social
Right now the forecast says it is 29c and a breeze of 10-13km/h in #Todmorden. Weather forecasters always forget terrain. Now the sun is fully shining into the high-sided ravines that block that breeze.

I just drove under that great shelf of black cloud coming back from oldham where the sky was blue and sunny. But the thunder I can hear in #Todmorden is more beyond #Bacup.
Unable to find *full* results for #Todmorden: East with #HebdenBridge (published) *and* #Todmorden West (missing) two days after polling day (2nd pic) I asked Google AI (1st pic) @calderdale.bsky.social @calderdalegreenp.bsky.social @ sarah courtney calderdale labour party (no bluesky presence)
If you are in #Todmorden and wondering where the thunder is coming from then this is an image from the real time map from blitzortung.org for the thunder in the last minutes. Let there be clear air! @chadweather.bsky.social
Alarming how warm the air smelled at 5am when it woke me up with that seaside smell. More alarming, the rise in temp between 8.44am and 9.14am was nearly 3c in 30min. And again 9.44am to 10.14am. Currently just topped 20c here in #Todmorden
Agreed. This was just after 1am here, but just those two significant gusts, which are unusual in this sheltered area of Todmorden.
#Todmorden ear-popping 30mph windgust out of nowhere. These speeds were not forecast until around midnight, but something went clattering by. We are pretty sheltered here too, so I hope elsewhere #StormDave isn't getting too oity-toity? Rain is unremarkable so far.
Some sharp hailstones assaulting the gazebo this morning.
The forecast said 16c, but right now we have a pleasant 18.3c in #Todmorden. @chadweather.bsky.social
Oh, exasperation... at the contradictions on this page about #Todmorden. Warning for rain, but we're under heavy snow, yet no snow has fallen and only a little rain. Wintry mix over by 12pm, yet it's 3c and most of the rain is skimming across the top of my rain cup, it might land whe it hits Pendle.
I'd be impressed if they got any at all. Todmorden got nothing, not even close to the 18cm wunderground forecast or the 12cm the Met office forecast, no wind, barely any rain, and it was too mild for snow. 0cm in Burnley too. Bit embarrasing, thousands of kids disappointed and tons of grit wasted.
Brr! In our sheltered spot of #Todmorden it was plenty cold enough at 7.2c! It's still -6c now. We had this lovely moonset at about 7.45am -- to the naked eye the sky was an intense royal blue.
#FloodAlert This is for #Todmorden #HebdenBridge #Mytholmroyd, down to #Brighouse. Todmorden has had 37mm of rain since midnight. If you can, get ahead of it and sweep your nearby gullies to help alleviate flooding risk and water on roads. @calderdale.bsky.social
This is current for #Walsden #FLOODWARNING. #Todmorden has had 37mm of rain since midnight and there hasn't been much gully clearing in Tod. No blame intended, but if you can, get ahead of it and sweep your nearby gullies to help alleviate risk. @calderdale.bsky.social

This is how Todmorden is looking. Not far from the source of the two rivers Calder, east and west flowing, it'll be unpleasant for driving as no leaf sweeping has been done :(
Just got my weather station back online so thought I'd share a pic re overnight temps 20th Nov here in Todmorden
