I forgot Goodsprings! It’s about 8 miles off the 15 from Jean so I didn’t go by it this time. It’s a lot smaller than the game makes it look, but the people there are lovely and hold a New Vegas get together every year

Last one I got is the Highway Patrol near the NCR checkpoint where the statues are in game. I didn’t see Nipton so I assume the Legion got to it lol. In the before time this was a checkpoint to confiscate invasive plants and seeds from entering CA but that means paying people & that ain’t happening

Unlike Lucky 38, the Strat is a rundown pit on the North end. They have the cool revolving restaurant but I wouldn’t risk the possibility of being accosted by a man in a checkered suit.

The Spirit of Christmas compelled me to paint my Black Gobbo last month. Up to this point it’s the most intricate freehand I’ve done, especially on the 40k/aos packaging. When the holidays roll around I’ll make a diorama or matte painting to really show off the details

I’m back baby! Finally sat down and took the time to figure out a new photography setup so I can confidently post again! Mushroom dude came out well and I feel a lot more confident now that the pics look like the model irl. #miniaturepainting #nerdlings

Painted this little mushroom dude as an excuse to step away from trim for a moment. If I did the neons right it should glow like a mini golf course under blacklight

The standouts are God Hand and Persona 2 at around $200 each and the rest are at least double msrp. I have no connection to any of these games and would much rather use the money to support small artists and to be able to afford shipping for art trades

The Logans World set in the Rogue Trader book are my favorite

I really like this cape. Usually I have to clean up the highlights but the details are deep enough that the contrasts didn’t bleed out of the recesses

I had a hobby day last night and got a good layer of white down on the armor. I meant to find a tutorial for the sword but I think I’ve outgrown the videos on the gw painting app and youtube just leaves me frustrated. Otherwise I love her, just ignore the giant seam line that I missed entirely lol

First little bit on the body is going very well. Ever since the nightmare of a mini that was Aster Crohne I’ve gained a lot more appreciation towards the designers and engineers that can make high detail work accessible to everyone that isn’t a masochist like me.

The new plastic kits are so crisp and easy to clean up. It’s really nice to paint forgeworld quality stuff without fighting resin flash. Crossing my fingers that the rest goes this well

I slapped together this Necromunda tentacle today as a color test since I don’t paint with a lot of purple. Gotta get crafty with the paints I have left
