Totally forgot about this! I'll try and go through my backlog over the next bit here. Pokemon Black (replay, mono ghost, playing with level caps): this game has *hands* holy shit
Y'know I was familiar with the basic ideas presented here but this is a really interesting read. Also a really goddamn hard one, French academics are so goddamn wordy lmao
I did one of those top 9 boards going around! This was really hard - I could name another half dozen games/series that should probably be on here. my9games.com
Big fan of Foucault's Cannon, the latest and least hypothetical entry in the list of Things Michel Foucault had
Your last saved meme is your moral philosophy ...a little shallow, maybe, but I'll stand by this
The Magnus Archives (Season 1) Enjoying this one a great deal. The more historically-oriented episodes (like the one in 1800s Germany) have been my favorites, hoping for more of those. I'd take that archivist position in a heartbeat, mortal peril and all.
The House in the Cerulean Sea Extremely cute, charming, gay little fantasy with a few bits that hits just a little close to home at certain points.
The Mighty Nein (Season 1) Honestly a way more impressive adaptation than Vox Machina, for the most part. A lot was changed, mostly for the better in a format like this, and I'm looking forward to seeing how they adapt the rest of the campaign. Curious what they'll change about how things play out.
Trails through Daybreak 2 Maybe the most asset flip game ever made, which isn't a bad thing. There are stretches of the stupidest shit ever written, but then Kondo comes back with peak. Kasim is the dumbest character in this series but Shizuna's an all-timer, so who can say if this was good or bad?
