The first paragraph of Moby Dick. (Done via voice text, there may be errors of word or punctuation) "Call me Ishmael. some years ago. My penguin classics copy of Herman melville's, Moby Dick or "the whale", showing ,of course, the whale on cover and boat and some gentleman who appear to be engaged in. I don't know attacking well. It's listed as the definitive text, but of course I've never read it before so I don't know what that means exactly.

So I followed Brooke Elliott over from "Drop Dead Diva" and found this show on Netflix. It's a pleasant diversion, fairly low stakes, most of the emotional conflicts are relatable to me and if the "southern charm" of it all get's laid on a bit thick, well, that's just the price of admission.

Ok, three pounds in, I've set up a Lego sorting station in the basement... Starting off, sorting it by color and we'll dive into the nitty gritty later.

Eight disposable aluminum loaf pans set on a white Costco table with a container full of about 10 lb of Lego sit in my basement. Waiting for me to sort all of it by color.

I think my Squier 51 is more of a tobacco burst, which I dig. (It wasn't the color I wanted but it was the one that was available and I wasn't sure I'd see another one so I bought it.)

Sandwiched between a squire fender basics and a Six flags. Batman guitar is my own Epiphone eb1 with a single pickup and volume and tone knobs etc etc. I got it for $200 I think because it was cheap.

I love when my timeline does this:

Two posts one from joe kassabian saying "back in the US and was reminded the only ads on TV are for prescription drugs, gambling and psychos running for office." The post that follows is from Scott and says "that moment when you realize the person with BPD is back home after a trip and you realize how much you appreciated the silence." Now I choose to believe this is entirely a coincidence and that Scott is not complaining about Joe. I could be wrong.
