If he wants the investigation stopped, presumably he now wants to lose the by-election. What a disaster. He resigned, then said he would fight the by-election; none of the other parties turned up to play his game, and if he wins, he still gets investigated. What a cunning stunt.

Trump has always worked to the "madman" theory of negotiations - behave in an unpredictable and irrational fashion, and the other side will fold. But what happens to this theory when the other side also acts in the same way? Iran is not folding, and Trump is reduced to tantrums.
You go to war to weaken an opponent and end up leaving them stronger and with a chokehold on the global economy. Some victory. The madman theory of victory.

Britain has had a proper Brexit. It is no longer a member of the EU. That's what Brexit meant. Leaving the EU. What the Express really means by a "Proper Brexit" is a suite of right-wing policies that would further impoverish the country and isolate it even further from its neighbours.

It is US consumers who pay tariffs, not foreign governments or exporters. Importers pay the tariff and then pass it on in higher prices. Everyone knows this except for those in the Trumponomics bubble.

How do you stop an idea from crossing a border "illegally"? Who decides what ideas are "illegal"? "I think Donald Trump is a moron". Is that an illegal idea? If I said that, would I be arrested if I tried to visit the US in a legal manner because I had an illegal idea in my head?
I came across this from President Trump. See "Tariff money is pouring into the United States". Could someone such as @davidheniguk.bsky.social tell me where this money is pouring in from? I always thought that tariffs raised prices for domestic consumers. Who does Trump think he is taxing

Apart from the grotesque content of this letter, McCarthyism reborn, what strikes me is just how badly it is written. This guy can hardly string two sentences together. Just another one of the "Trump thugerrati".
We await comments from Johnson, Farage, Badenoch, Truss and all the other Trump fans. Are they with Trump or Ukraine?
