PhD student at OSU AEDE. I study AFOLU emissions reduction schemes and want to study energy. Mostly I used Twitter for politics and space and war stuff, I figure this will be much the same ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. Free Soil, Free Labor, Free Men, and less Carbon
There are whole movies about Argentine imperialism (in this case very mixed in with Chilean)
Something like this. My preferences, obviously, not a prediction. I have family in Ecuador, the Cape Verde story is wild (and they have a crew player), and I love my homeland and our beloved neighbor whom we don't treat nicely enough.
Probably someone less irritated who took more time could write a more eloquent comment, but hey doing it is better than thinking about doing it and forgetting.
That’s a fair enough critique, though I figured you might know and didn’t want to look it up. But I did. Admittedly not the level of rigor I would use to write a full size post, but this is broadly in line with what I was trying to remember. A lot of caveats to both the data in OP and here though
As I might have understood, then in my first year of having my own opinions about music:
“What perfect albums came out when you were 16?” Does the prompt demand that I recognized them as such at the time? I’ll answer as if the answer is no, since I couldn’t find anything great released in 12-13 (my time range) that I would have recognized as such at the time.
Having done a lot of work here, it seems like everybody approaches this, as if one more rating agency will do it. I get that they’re all different in important ways but it just ends up being the old xkcd comic. Ofc I also believe that we need one that works so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ imgs.xkcd.com/comics/stand...
Pies. Not the prettiest, but tasty and from scratch all the way!
While they have the majority, they're busy confirming justices!
Sadly true, but if you want to live in a fantasy land, I made an 11-4 D gerrymander once when I was bored (this is obviously a very illegal map also we should aim for a commission):
This map is real and bad, but worth pointing out that it has already gotten less bad since the 2022 version and to a certain degree will probably moderate. By no means does this negate the larger point, but per the article this is sourced from:
I voted! Sherrod Browns most mediocre canvasser is out to defend the senate, end gerrymandering, and (arguably) improve bus service in central Ohio
Not sure if anything qualifies except kids movies (which I just didn’t feel like putting in here) but this one comes close
Lol now I have to hope this platform takes off so that this looks vaguely impressive
Thanks! This worked. I don't know GIS but this was fairly straightforward stuff once I figured out the institutional ArcGIS account! Unfortunately, the outcome is far uglier than I'd imagined, but c'est la vie.
@drvolts.bsky.social continuing to inspire me twice-ish a week! He has the best guests!
