Mayor Tony Heyl
@tonyheyl
Husband, father, Mayor of Bridgeport.
Hey, it's me, your favorite wrestling loving Mayor. Just got a call from my childhood best friend Jordan. He is going into emergency surgery for a brain tumor. Hoping for good news. I just saw him last week. In 1991, we saw Hogan vs Flair in Pittsburgh. In 2024, we went to Wrestlemania.
We are visiting my parents outside of Pittsburgh. They still have their @conorlambpa.bsky.social sign in the garage.
Celebrated National Night Out in Bridgeport tonight by meeting a prospective new member of our police department. He pawsitively loved my Mayor sash.
I am grateful to my college, Marist University, for recognizing me in the recent alumni section in the Marist magazine.
I'm at the MLB All Star Village supporting the ALS cause on behalf of ALS United Mid-Atlantic. Thank you to the Phillies and MLB for hosting us! Join our ALS mission at www.alsmidatlantic.org
I wore my sash to pick up dinner for the family. This Mayor is Pro Sashism and Anti Fascism.
Thanks to everyone for the amazing turnout today as Bridgeport celebrated the words and values that birthed America. Cicero wrote that "To be ignorant of what occurred before you were born is to remain always a child." Understanding our history helps us grow as a community and as a country.
I'm outside of Independence Hall in Philadelphia for the National Conference of Mayors. I may never take off this sash. #Mayor #Philadelphia #bridgeportpa
It is a great night for Pride on the River at Frosty Falls Ice Cream ! I got Da Boss. #bridgeportpa #PrideMonth
Celebrating my birthday with Andrew and AJ at the Phillies game. Great game so far and we got to see Rincones get his first home run! Thanks to the Phillies for all that they do to support the ALS cause!
I posted a Pride Flag in my Mayor's office. It is fun to respond to people who want to minimize Pride or express bigotry. Love is love and I will always be an ally to the LGBTQ+ community. The first Pride parade I participated in was back in 2002!
I'm happy to represent ALS United Mid-Atlantic tonight for Lou Gehrig Day with the Philadelphia Phillies! I'm here with my friend Vince, a veteran with ALS.
With my friend Josh at #AEWDynamite with our message to Smash ALS! Sending our love to Rebel and all those impacted by ALS.
I've attended shows there going back 20 years. But we had great seats in the Fall for AEW!
Reminder that today is our ALS United Mid-Atlantic Day of Giving. My friend John, seen here with me at our recent ALS United Walk, is matching online donations today, up to $10,000! Support our mission at: host.nxt.blackbaud.com/donor-form/?...
I was cleaning and I found my ticket stub from a Ring of Honor show from 2004.
I held office hours at my Mayor's office in Bridgeport, PA. Schedule a meeting with me if you want to talk about local concerns or, obviously, talk pro wrestling.
I was very happy to join fellow Montco Mayors at the 2026 Montgomery County newly elected orientation event. We were joined by the County Commissioners and we heard from other County officials. I look forward to learning from my fellow Mayors as we advocate for our communities.
12 years ago, I was sworn into office on Borough Council with my wife, who was 9 months pregnant with our first son. Last night, I was sworn into office as Mayor with my wife and our boys. What a great life I've been honored to live.
I had my swearing in as the new Mayor of Bridgeport, PA tonight. Judge Lois Murphy helped with my oath. In 2004, I moved to Montgomery County to work for her Congressional campaign. Now she is a judge, I'm a Mayor, and her finance director from 04 Tim Briggs is my State Rep.
The only thing I like about AI is making funny pictures of our family's stuffed bears.
I am at my son's school concert and look what day it is! Should I be worried?
Happy Thanksgiving from the Heyl family! Excited for the year ahead and what awaits us.
Well, now I'm going to have to update my profile from Councilman to Mayor. Thank you to the voters of Bridgeport!
I had fun taking my son around town in Bridgeport to Trick or Treat tonight. Happy Halloween!
