I’ve been playing a lot of cities skylines 2 lately. Today I put a house under a highway, right where it belongs.

Everyone’s making thanksgiving posts. Today I’m thankful for my friend who showed me Pink Flamingos yesterday. What a hell of a movie. Real filthy art that I couldn’t take my eyes away from. I knew people liked John Waters but I never really understood why. Now I get it!
G.L.O.S.S. 9/30/2015 in South Florida. These small sweaty shows are always going to be my favorite memories and this one stands out. I urge everyone who’s young (and old tbh) to find local DIY music and start going to shows. It taught me so much and I met so many amazing people.
After living in Florida my whole life I can’t believe places like this are real. This is something you only see in the movies, not somewhere you can visit!

Go to local shows and festivals!!! Sometimes you get lucky and see an artist like Phoebe Bridgers at a small little spot before you understand how much you’ll like them and how big they will become! P.S. I’ll probably share some more of my live music photography soon
Modest Mouse - The Lonesome crowded West A 10/10 no skips album for me. I’ll never get enough of these songs. A beautiful album about the consequences of building strip malls everywhere.
Chat Pile - God’s Country It you’ve ever been mad at how America treats people, and want to yell and scream about it, this is the album. Heavy, righteous anger, and all the feelings of being scared you’ve ever felt. One of my top albums of all time. Why do people have to live outside?
El Ten Eleven - Self Titled I think I found this album on Pandora which influenced a lot of my early music taste in the late 2000s. Love the album art, love the looping guitar and drums on their albums. My Only Swerving really takes me back to being a very young adult!

I sent him this image I took during an opener at a machine girl house show in Las Vegas. Took it on an iPhone 6, the artist is more important than the tool!
