This is not a drill! There's a starcraft BW tournament happening the same weekend as PaxU just a few blocks away from the convention center. I gotta plan on how to do to both now...
I'm so excited to see Pressed out in the wild for the very first time! And at GenCon too! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh The booth is 1649 if you want to check it out and pick up a copy! It's a little cozy flower game about planting and pressing flowers with art by Beth Sobel!
What a surprise! I found a little free zine library in a coffeeshop in Halifax called Wired Monk.
You heard of elf on a shelf, but have you seen a peacock and his hump on a stump. PS there has to be a game theme here.
My highest score ever in Balatro (with multiplayer mod). I don't think I'll ever make it to naneinf.
I've been obsessed with minesweeper ever since I played "Let's! Revolution!". I never thought I would be good enough for "Evil" mode but I've been enjoying it immensely.
Happy early mother's day. My friend and her mom are spending the weekend with us so I worked in a playtest of my handwriting forgery party game. It's "what if dixit was based on handwriting instead of pictures?"
So after Pressed was returned back to me in 2023, I felt the game would be left in limbo forever. However, I was left with the beautiful art by Beth. To have some closure, I framed my 6 favorite flowers and they have been on display next to our gaming table for 3 whole years.
Day 20. We start and end with a calamtis. This is from a different, smaller plant. This maybe my favorite flower in Pressed because of the tense scoring incentives. Tomorrow I'll share something special. Do me a favor and follow the campaign if you have enjoyed these photos these past 3 weeks. 😊
Day 19! The crowdfunding campaign launches this week! Here is our last rose color: a red rose. This is featured in the game and has a shoot the moon scoring arc. I love me some shoot the moon scoring.
Day 15, let's play a guessing game! What flower is this? Answer in the image description.
Day 14, the yellow rose finally bloomed enough for a picture! And we are officially 1 week out from the campaign! 🎉🎉🎉
Day 13 and I'm running through my library of photos. It stormed today and I couldn't make it outside. Here's a cactus I saw in Phoenix a few years ago
Day 12 and I'm running out of unique plants. Here is a little succulent on my work desk. I love the white frosted tips 😂
Day 11 is some phlox! Phlox was supposed to be a flower in the game but it didn't make the cut.
Day 10 is this gorgeous red lantana! I love it's small clusters. I am running low on flowers around my house. I might have bitten off more than I can post.
Day 9 is a Rubus bifrons Himalayan blackberry flower. It has not fruited this year but I'll have you know we have fed the deer well last year...
Day 8 is a date with a rose. This pink rose was the first rose that bloomed in our little rose garden.
Day 7, enjoy this white and pink petunia. My wife thought my picture taking skills are mediocre and took over 😂
Day 5 is a orchid my friend gave me as a house warming present. It looks so gorgeous, I just love white flowers.
Day 4: a Christmas Cactus. It supposedly blooms around Christmas time, but don't tell the plant. I almost killed it by over watering it but it came back to life!
Day 2 calls for 2 peonies! Collecting two peonies score you 8 points in Pressed 😁
Oo I just had a fun idea! I'm going to post a picture of a flower around my house every day for the next 20 days until the campaign starts. Here's a picture of a beautiful Clematis the other day.
Got a chance to playtest my tree decorating game tonight. Guess which one was mine 😅
