Quarterly reminder… I have become more chill with the Detroit-fixation. At least I don’t rhyme about it anymore…
A friend picked up one of my Pinterest Holy Grails at an Estate Sale in Alamo Heights this morning. A fiesta poster from my birthday that just happens to be super gay.
So, I clicked on my CashApp app to check my ‘coffee-money’ stock portfolio, and got this message. I had to tripe check I didn’t open Co-Star or Pattern?!
One year ago a natural disaster became something I saw in front of me instead of through my phone screen. The Guadalupe River has been a main character in my life for the past decade. Click the link to read about kayaking and grief. open.substack.com/pub/toribeav42
Is it normal for a cat to have an emotional support silver serving tray?
I had my first bad burn of summer kayaking before my restaurant shift. So fair reminder to others pack sunscreen everywhere. The stark line between pale white and burning red flesh is alarming.
Do y'all think I'm to first person to watch the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race on a Naval base while Kayaking? Or the second?
Watching back through some after-GP content. I really want Lewis' Big Ol' Trousers. I mean, look at them. Lovely.
Copy Cat has decided that one of my silver bed plates is his sleeping plate. Honestly, I'm here for it.
The restaurant groupchat decided to pop off postgame. This made me laugh.
Three cats is fine, right? This isn't the start of a Blackstock-esque journey. @elizablackstock.bsky.social @blackstockalypse.bsky.social
One of my favorite innovations of “Bus life” is having an insane collection of silver plates to use for breakfast in bed. Also hour 14 of race cars calls for shakshuka in bed.
A great part of this running bit of my high school friends finally getting into F1 is that Miranda and Ben usually watch the race delayed. But also, Ben is the only Pierre Gasly fan I know and wow is his Sunday about to be ruined.
A fairly general set of texts between me and my dad. #tw carter hart mentioned.
Made the French chef a cheat sheet of the game schedule (no TV’s at the restaurant) so he knows when we’ll be super slow. (and a reminder that even though he just spent 7 years in Harlem, he’s French first)
Life is so good because I remembered I didn’t eat and ordered Tikka Masala pizza for the close of the NASCAR race.
