One of the more moderate river crossings in the middle of the Icelandic Highlands. The car was well prepared, with AT tires and a snorkel for deeper crossings. Very important to not underestimate how rough the Highlands can be if you don't want to drown or otherwise break your car.

This is the absolutely immense Salmon Glacier, 5th largest in Canada. It is expected to be completely gone by the end of this century.
Still unable to trail run properly while recovering, I just ordered this guy to allow myself at least some cross training. It's a Canyon Grizl6, it should be here in a few days. Am pretty excited to be able to get out for a workout soon.
New print showed up! One of my favourite memories. Started on the trail in the dark, hoping to catch sunrise on this local mountain, and the weather cooperated. Carried my heavy 70-200 lens for this, no regrets.
Winter storm in Iceland. I was between contracts one rainy January, sitting in a pub in Vancouver trying to figure out what to do with a week off work. It then struck me that flights to Iceland are cheap mid winter. It turned out to be one incredible trip.
One of my favorite shots, printed in 20x30, float wrap, by White House Custom Colour. Some bright larches on a faraway ridge, late fall in Kananaskis country, Alberta, Canada. Shot with a Nikon Z8/180-600mm, while looking for wildlife. A very memorable trip and moment.
I don't have a dog but I do get to dog sit once in a while and it's always good fun.
Funny thing about the recovery process, especially the one that takes a long time. As things slowly get normalized, it is very easy to not notice it happen. You sort of fall into the normal behavioral pattern, without realizing that, until very recently, what you just did was not really possible.
