Anyone mistakenly inferring from my profile pic that I'm one of those Roman Statue Guys, pls note: it's the statue of Young Lincoln in Chicago's Senn Park (near our home), locally known as "Sexy Lincoln" (see attached t-shirt image I created for my wife), and I intend its use as gently self-mocking.
"Friends" is a beloved American sitcom that aired from 1994 to 2004, following six young adults--Rachel, Ross, Monica, Chandler, Joey, and Phoebe--living in New York City. The show explores their friendships, romances, careers, and personal growth over ten seasons.
A wonderful person and one of my heroes. Here she is at the same desk at the ACLU of GA in the summer of 1987 when I was a law student intern working with her and George.

My idiosyncratic peeve: I still say "Go DOGS" bc that's what it was from my boyhood thru 1980 (see attached pic of '78 UGa bandana and '76 button; our family car's sole bumper sticker - purchased at the WLOCP around '74 - likewise). Apparently we got "Go DAWGS" bc it's copyright-able.
The Brooks litigation in Columbus was really inspiring. I still have a copy of their "McCleskey motion" in my files.
