A product of my environment and education. News, technology, music, film, the big picture, and absurd observations. Will be the focus here from time to time.
My Ohio senator lashed out with an obscenity at an 85-year-old who’d already pled the 5th and couldn’t legally respond. That’s not accountability, it’s a bully picking on someone with their hands tied, for the cameras. It was a dick move. I expected better from the man represents my district.
How do we know if the president’s decisions are for the good of the country, or for the good of him and his family? Lately, it’s hard to tell.
While Musk provides capital at companies like SpaceX and Tesla, he is often credited with engineering achievements produced by thousands. His use of Twitter allows him to define his own public narrative, eclipsing the engineers doing the work.
1930s Brownshirts (SA) / 2025 ICE. Unlike the Brownshirts, who acted outside the law, ICE operates within a legal framework, in other words, it is legalized.
Observation: Kneel to power and survive today stand for principle and be remembered forever. Just something for these folks to keep in mind. Curious what’s Melania‘s roll here?
But Russia did interfere to influence voters. Gabbard is just trying to help out Trump’s Epstein problems with a distraction.
The problem with MAGA and the Epstein files? They always assumed the names on the list were all Democrats.
Observation: The media all used Trump for ratings. Now he’s turning on them — threatening CNN with lawsuits and prosecution. He doesn’t want coverage. He wants control. One voice. His. That’s not journalism. That’s propaganda. And history shows this never ends well for anyone.
He may be gearing up to use the War Powers Act, spotting a chance to look strong and grab credit for Israeli gains. Classic Trump. #Trump #WarPowers #MiddleEast #IranCrisis #Geopolitics #MilitaryMoves #TakingCredit
I studied 20th-century history thinking it was academic, distant. Now it feels disturbingly familiar. #HistoryRepeats #LearnHistory
Elon Musk’s Grok AI pushing false “white genocide” claims exposes dangerous bias and manipulation risks in AI. Was it directed to promote this narrative? If so, it undermines the AI’s credibility, suggesting manipulation over factual responses.
Lately, it feels like the Supreme Court is being used to strip rights from Americans, not protect them—why take away progress instead of helping people live better lives?
If courts are ignored, Congress paralyzed, and law follows loyalty, democracy collapses—not with a bang, but a shrug. The system depends on character. Trump is the stress test, and survival may hinge on how many are willing to say no, even at a cost.
Fkn ’ell our new government is now banning words from government websites. That bears repeating—the MAGA-government is banning words from government websites. It’s almost as if history hasn’t been taught in schools for the past 50 years.

NATO deters aggression, ensures collective defense, and promotes stability among allies. For the U.S., it strengthens global security, enhances military cooperation, and protects strategic interests worldwide.
Presidents, and major political figures in general, set a tone that can ripple through government, businesses, and culture.
‘But everybody still talks about How badly they were shocked But me, I expected it to happen I knew he’d lost control When he built a fire on Main Street And shot it full of holes’ ~ Bob Dylan
I think it’s rich—a billionaire like Elon Musk, backed by Trump, slashing federal jobs through his “Department of Government Efficiency,” branding workers as waste. Careers are destroyed, finances ruined, and vital government services are at risk.
