Anyone who wants to break down the things that are obviously wrong in this screen shot is welcome to have a go at it, but I especially love that she has QTs turned off, presumably because she doesn't want others appropriating her words for their own use. Where I come from, we call this hypocrisy.
On the one hand, I'm gratified that she's finally found a happy place where she can be loved... On the other hand, no one who doesn't pay rent should be this comfortable on my couch 😶

Post a perfect album from the 90s that isn't Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden or Alice in Chains. So many songs on this album still get airplay, nearly 30 years later. I will note, for the record, that a lot of artists NOT from Seattle also dropped excellent albums in the 90s.

This tweet is interesting as a meta-narrative, decrying the decline of education and indeed of our whole online culture. This poster deploys their (apparent) inability to find suitably boring bread to call out the glaring defects in how we prepare people to live in a world with too many choices 1/?

So, the thing about this is how it's becoming more reliably predictable as an outcome -- the valorization of both tech and billionaires is creating more problems than it's solving. It's a symptom of unfettered capitalism and a culture that is more interested in owning things than doing things.
