NEW VIDEO! New Season! This is our biggest PIVOT yet...come see our new home and a very special announcement in this week's video all about our new #RVLife: youtu.be/UHtb6tcdU9w
In case you are wondering...this is still Traveling Cat Photos...we are just changing direction a bit! MUCH more in tomorrow's video! 4pm Pacific over on YouTube!
Our California Hills are Golden right now and that means two things...fire season and wineries! This is the BEST time to go wine tasting. The weather can get toasty in Paso Robles but when it comes with Llamas and great wine, we'd head out to Wild Horse Winery any time!
If you are a "Birder" then Monterey County should be on your List. We have an amazing array of #birds that live here full time and a bunch of migrators that stop in a couple of times a year. It is always a beautiful view when an Great Egret poses for me.
For #Architecture Monday we are headed to Los Angeles. Some of the most beautiful and interesting buildings in the world are Museums! The Petersen is simply gorgeous inside and out with smooth curving lines, spirals and geometric lines everywhere. The cars are cool too!
Life has been BIG the past few days. We'll reveal how big coming up on Thursday. In the meantime...HI!
Have you heard about the Dambo Trolls? We became Troll Hunters 2 years ago when we took a trip up to the PNW where there are 6...we only saw 5 but hope to see the 6th one in just a few weeks! Do you also Hunt Trolls?
We keep trying to convince you to visit Monterey County. This view is off of 17 Mile Drive, one the premier places to play Golf in the world. But even if you don't play, this coastline is gorgeous and from now through October is the best time to come visit! #Travel #California
Thinking today about the blessing that we have living in Monterey. A place with so much wonderful wildlife, including adorable sea otters, and truly lovely people. Tell us about what makes your place so wonderful!
Monterey County in California isn't the first place you think of when it comes to #wine but it really should be in your top 5! Some of the best wines are grown here and taking a River Road tour through the vineyards is a "must do" when you are in the area if you like wine tasting!
We always appreciate it when a bit of architectural style is added to municipal buildings. Normally they are very boring boxy things but this one takes that box and makes it interesting! In fact, there are lots of buildings in San Diego worth of some notice!
We recently had a conversation with a viewer from Australia who remarked that it was fun to see the squirrels in our videos because they don't have them there! Common to us unique to them. So look around your neighborhood today and realize that someone in the world would think it's exotic! #Travel
In case you missed it...NEW VIDEO! We hit the coast South of Cambria this time to explore and hang out in Morro Bay for the afternoon! Beautiful views, great food and some wildlife encounters made it a heck of a day: youtu.be/p10HEnRUd-w
#Flower Friday! Right now the Pacific Northwest is starting to BURST with wildflowers. It was one of the biggest surprises we got the first time we traveled in that direction and something to look forward to this time too!
New Video! This time we are off to the California Coast to find out why this is a place you don't want to miss! youtu.be/p10HEnRUd-w
Today we wander off to Glacier National Park. I love checking out all of the different types of transportation there is in an area and just fell in love with these tour busses! #Travel
Where's our Disney people?! We've been a #Disney family since I was an infant. It was the one definite "vacation" we, as a big family, could go to...back when there were E-ticket rides! It's a bit too pricey for a quick visit but we have plans for the distant future! How about you?!
#Architecture Monday takes us off to #Venice, Italy! People fall in love with the Grand Canal but what they don't realize is that every part of this city is gorgeous...it's the details like the flowers on the railings, the flags from the windows, the colors. We recommend!
Our 4th was low-key. Bbq with friends, a few "safe and sane" on asphalt...but it was pretty! There's a new short on YouTube if you want to see this one in action!
Amid the chaos, this year has had some very happy moments...the Knicks winning, the joy of FIFA, the Obama Library and yesterday we had Taylor & Kelsey exiting their wedding to this Showgirl orange sky while another Kelsey set records crossing the ocean and landing in Hawaii. (1/2)
This #Flower Friday we hop on over to the Sonoma Cornerstone Art Gardens. This totally free gardens has public art as well as gorgeous gardens to enjoy including this Lily Pond!
Throwin' back to Dallas, many years ago, when I was in the area for a work trip. When we travel for work we always try to bake in some extra time to see friends, families and new cities. Dallas was charming! We hope to have more than one day to explore the next time we are in the area! #Travel
We meet some fun critters in National Parks. Unfortunately, like this turkey, they get use to humans feeding them and get more brazen with their approaches, making it dangerous for the animal and humans. This lil lady didn't get a free meal from any of us but she did keep trying.
For #Architecture Monday let's hop on over to San Francisco. Yes, there are SO many amazing buildings that you can see driving down the street but there are equally SO many that are amazing on the inside! The Garden Court at the Palace Hotel is stunning!
In case you missed it NEW VIDEO! CuriOdyssey, located in San Mateo, has fun science to discover as well as rescue birds and animals to enjoy AND an incredible playground and gardens to explore! Check it out in this week's video: youtu.be/hN1JvDxNW3A
This #Flower Friday we are off to Schönbrunn Palace in Vienna! The amazing gardens could take you a couple of hours to explore much less the amazing buildings. If you get a chance to visit Austria, this is one of our recommendations!
New Video! Have you heard about CuriOdyssey? Find out all about this amazing place right on the San Francisco Bay in this week's video! youtu.be/hN1JvDxNW3A
One of the fun parts of travel is that sometimes the locations pop up in movies! Salzburg is in plenty of movies like The Great Race and The Sound of Music...(Do,Re,Mi was filmed here in this garden). The movie brought all these wonderful memories back again...we highly recommend Salzburg! #Travel
