Today, 30+ #AnnArbor leaders called on Monroe Public Schools to reinstate Athletic Director Chet Hesson. Dr. Hesson has been on leave for more than three months after expressing empathy and support for a Skyline student who was being targeted with unwarranted hate and intense harassment. #A2Council
With the passage of this Ordinance to Create Rent Transparency, #A2Council finished the job we started last year when we eliminated predatory pre-tenancy junk fees. This ordinance will prohibit landlords from charging any “mandatory fee.” Those costs should be billed as what they really are: rent.
I am proud to serve alongside Mayor Taylor and of the long list of progressive accomplishments we have achieved on behalf of residents together.
