Mouse the Cat watched me raise the flag on the morning of July 4, 2026 as I honored my patriot ancestors this 250th anniversary of the independence of our United States, escaping from British monarchy.

Timothy Cady in Canterbury Connecticut received his soldier’s kit on July 4, 1776 on the green in that town. November 16 he was taken prisoner at Ft. Washington, New York, by the British and survived time on the POW ships.
