Rebuilding a dam in #GlenAffric 🦫 After heavy rainfall washed away the original dam last month, one beaver got straight to work, rebuilding it in just 9 hours. This #beaver was one of last year's kits and had likely never seen a dam being built. Yet its natural instinct kicked in!

Twinflower is one of Scotland's most beautiful and delicate native #wildflowers, closely associated with Caledonian #pinewoods. 🌸 Its name comes from its distinctive bell shaped flowers, and provides nectar for pollinating insects. 🌲 Watch to discover more about this rare woodland flower 👉
Barn owl cam 🎥🦉 We have five #owlets growing fast and thriving at @visitdundreggan.bsky.social! As the eggs hatch at different times, usually in the order they were laid, the older chicks are now at the stage of developing face, wing and tail feathers. 🪶
Bright yellow bog asphodel is one of the many plants that thrive in healthy #peatlands. 🌟 Flowering from June to September, its star shaped blooms attract a range of pollinating #insects, adding a splash of colour to Scotland's bogs, damp heaths and moors.
