I did not dye the fiber. That was done by a fabulous independent hand-dye artist. But I did spin (make the yarn) and ply the yarn and then weave it into a shawl. There are lots of us out there😊The photo is a different fiber on my wheel in process.
This is what I bought. Then I did a fractal spin. It is the Shaniko wool. Looks like it is sold out. If you haven't spun fractally(is that a word?) before here is a good explanation - schachtspindle.com/blogs/archiv... It's what I do with most of my multi colored braids.

I'm back! After being unable to work (quilt) for 6 weeks waiting for service to do machine repairs, I am getting back to work today. I did one of my own quilts (pictured) over the weekend to make sure everything was working properly. Now, on to my client quilts!
Currently reading - The Women of Wild Hill by Kirsten Miller A little on the nose, but a quick and satisfying read. Finished my first handspun of the new year - 1300+ yards 2 ply Shaniko wool. Trying hard to do what I can and stay informed here in bitterly cold, snowy West Michigan
