When I finally arrived, I was quite disappointed to find the house in a state of extreme disrepair, although the road itself is one of the most beautiful I’ve seen in Rome. Achieving this had been one of my life goals because I love #RomanHoliday and I believe I’ve watched it about 30 times!
As we wandered around the #piazzapopoli, I suddenly felt the urge to see if one of the filming locations from #romanholidaymovie was nearby. Sure enough, #ViaMargutti51 was only nine minutes away. I rushed there filled with excitement.

✍️ EAL Strategy 9 – Sentence Expansion- Sentence expansion supports EAL learners by starting with a simple, accurate sentence and gradually adding layers of language. This reduces cognitive load, makes grammar visible, and helps students develop more complex academic writing with confidence.
I thoroughly enjoyed delivering an engaging EAL session to the dedicated teaching staff at Prendergast Ladywell Primary School, focusing on the new Ofsted guidelines for supporting Multilingual pupils, which provided valuable insights into best practices.
