you mean like this one?

a large metal hook with a base shaped like an inverted bell. the hook is broken about halfway; it can't support anything. on top of it is a broken ceramic disk insulator. in the background are the grey painted struts of an electrical pylon. on the right is the toe of someone's boot. there are trees. this is from the transmission line that started the fire that torched the town of Paradise.

this biblically accurate power connector CAN hurt you. it has two interlock pins to disable the outputs because this cable has exposed pins!

"TAPE POWER CONNECTORS" but it has 30 pins, 19 AC lines and 11 DC lines, in a two-layer coaxial power cable.

a strawberry should be about the size of a raspberry. this little guy was less sweet than the supermarket variety but packed so much flavor it almost tasted artificial.

a wild strawberry, Fragaria virginiana (or possibly Fragaria vesca). the flavor of a wild strawberry is much more intense to the point where they almost taste like artificial strawberry flavoring, although not terribly sweet. farmed strawberries are a pale shadow in comparison.

a small red berry about the size of a raspberry framed with characteristic strawberry leaves. there is a spider web underneath it with a leaf fragment stuck to it. unlike farmed varieties, there is very little flesh on the berry and the seeds are very closely spaced.

very odd, it has *two colors of silkscreen* so it has the usual white BUT ALSO RED

ahh yes it's two VGA connectors side by si--wait, are those extra pins below?

two 15-pin socket connectors that look vaguely like VGA but are square and not D shaped. also there are pins underneath, possibly for keying.

i got this weird little beast working today. the HP 125 is a dual processor CP/M machine (one main Z80 CPU, another Z80 to run the built-in terminal).

beige computer with a built-in monitor featuring a brown bezel. in front of it is a brown keyboard with tan function keys. on the right is a brown-bezel dual 5 1/4" floppy drive and below it is a beige drive containing a hard disk (5 megabytes!) and a 3 1/2" floppy drive.

this works but the strands will separate, you want a rig that will spin each individual wire in the opposite direction of the main twist, so that when they try to relax, they lock against each other. this cord/fringe twister does the trick.

i've got an improved layout which seems to be less picky about the inductor. seems to work with the MLZ2012M3R3HT000 as well as the SRN2009T-3R3M.

pcb layout with the input voltage node coming up through two vias, entering the input bypass capacitor, and then going into the Pico pin, rather than going around the back of the package.

once you write protect the disk, you can't un-protect it.

the write protect tab is molded as part of the blue plastic case and is designed to snap off. nothing slides here. there's also a molded-in "MADE IN JAPAN" text.

i need to work with some very early 3 1/2" disks. this example has an oval window but more surprisingly, the disk shutter must be opened manually before you put the disk in the drive!
