Meet Vera. She's a delightful 7 year old chaos gremlin who rules the household. For about 6 months though, she's been dealing with a terrible back wound that wouldn't go away because she's a compulsive groomer. Happy to say as of today's vet visit she is free and clear! 🥳🥳🥳

Tried out the new #Onimusha demo last night and holy crap is Capcom cooking. Ran butter smooth on my STEAM DECK at 50+ fps, which is just crazy to me. Game looks awesome and plays well too. Parries are super fun and cool to use. Definitely looking forward to the full game at some point...

Always been a bit wary of Dark Sun as a TTRPG setting b/c of its dark themes, but I'm kinda warming up to it. Started the 1st book in the Prism Pentad, and it's doing a good job so far of showing the people in charge are BAD PEOPLE, which was my primary issue. It's nice to enjoy reading again.

Finally home after an emergency trip to my partner's place and the ER last night (she's fine now). Think I'm gonna "relax" with more #Nioh3. Still enjoying it tons, but getting to where I'm not quite good enough to beat things solo. Was cool to see Nioh 2 callbacks though!

Plot was interesting, though kinda spooky as it considers where drone tech is going. Had some great references to AC4 and 5 (and 0 somewhat) that I enjoyed seeing too. Combat overall also felt super fresh what with the addition of the "drifting" mechanics that I first saw in H.A.W.X. #AceCombat7

Game number 13 is beaten! #AceCombat7 was fun with some challenging sections that I had to try multiple times. The ending was a little sour though since I *hated* the last mission. It felt so random b/c of how maneuverable the drones were. Took me almost 2 hours of attempts to finally get lucky.

I am so close to just.... Dropping the proto-relic sidequest in Rebirth because of the mini games. I'm just sooooo tired of them because all they do is pad an already long game, and I think I have another 2-3 I haven't even seen yet. If Revelation has them, I'm gonna have some words for the devs.

David makes a wonderful point here. I knew older systems didn't use a ton of RAM but I'm actually kinda blown away at just how little there was. Also just because a game is 2D doesn't mean it'll use a tiny amount of RAM. Here are the system specs required for the upcoming Final Fantasy Resonance.

And #Dispatch is my 12th game of the year! This was the literal definition of short but sweet, and totally worth the price of admission. Great story about redemption and what it means to be a hero. The art is BEAUTIFUL. I was in the 6% that didn't romance anyone. Y'all like to live dangerously 🤣

Cleared my first map in #Nioh3 and I'm excited! Took me FOREVER, which hopefully means I'm gonna get a ton of enjoyment out of the game. One thing I do love about the style though, is their choice of using this faux painting style of cut scene for new guardian spirits. It's beautiful...

Been playing some #AceCombat7 lately which is perfect since Wings of Theve comes out in October. Love the plot and it's been honestly challenging for some mission types! I've crashed way more times than I can count. I was also not expecting to see references to earlier games, like Stonehenge.

Fiiiiiinally got back to my desktop, so enjoy some awesome #Nioh3 shots. I'm working on what I'd consider the first major boss from beyond the demo, and he's a toughie (mostly because the pre-image thing is throwing my timing off). Also loving Odachi play, as always 💗

Now that I'm done with Death Stranding 2, it's time for the next big game I wanna tackle: #Nioh3. I *adore* this series and the sub-genre Team Ninja has created with it from the loot goblin gear collection to the pulp action that is the core of the gameplay. I wish I wasn't such a try-hard at it 😅

I swear to God, this little gremlin is trying to scam us for drugs. She has a weekly appointment for shots for the next few weeks now. She won't stop licking one specific spot on her back where she got wounded in a spat with another of our cats and so it never heals.

Side note: Can we talk about just how INSANELY unethical Lucy is? Not just dating but actively fucking at least one of her patients? We should NOT be normalizing this, because of how damaging it is to people. Forget Higgs, LUCY might be the real villain of Death Stranding 2. #DeathStranding2 6/6

Ultimately I enjoyed the game. It was worth the 90+ hours I sunk into it as I wandered Kojima's interpretation of Mexico and Australia connecting people. Highly recommend if you enjoyed the first game, or just Kojima games in general, that you try it out. #DeathStranding2 5/6
