Mario Kart World is a 10/10 presentation game with 6-7/10 gameplay that I enjoy playing but constantly wish I enjoyed more than I do.

This is the one souvenir from Japan that I see and appreciate every day

every couple months I try this game again and get super impressed with its art direction and lighting.

I suspect the writing of Pokopia probably won’t get as much praise as it deserves with devastating underhanded compliments like this

The post-game of Pokopia is the best part. I just work on this sim land with my Pokemon pals and the core objective of this game’s design is just to make the NPCs happy (Though, being a sim game, you don’t have to play that way and can do whatever you want.)

*Post about Pokopia w/endgame spoilers* It is weird to finish Pokopia, a game about creatures rebuilding the world after all the humans are gone, at this particular point in time.

This moment is the first time in a week that I’ve seen any of my multiple mine carts. I’d been wondering what happened to them.

A cozy game about living alongside Pokemon was a good idea in hindsight.

Nothing matters but tubes and making the tubes run good. I only want to work on the transportation systems in this game from now on. I will make them technically optimized but full of stupid things like loop de loops and scenic vistas.

Okay but one of those new quests took me to a snorring Snorlax and all other things I was doing before are now irrelevant.

I’m just trying to do a single task and I was forced to pickup two more quests on the way to turn that thing in. 😖🤯

The last Pokémon is taking longer to find than all the rest combined. I appreciate that they have a feature to point the camera in the general direction of where you want to go, even if it’s like a 5-step process to just do that.

#Pokopia is still exceedingly overwhelming, but i enjoy the gameplay of small memory checks for tracking down a set of Pokemon (even though it’s at least two memory checks and will force you to forget what you were doing before you decided to build that building.🫠😵‍💫)
