Quick n dirty start with the backpack after having some fun with the cape, also the first test fitting with every piece at least somewhat painted

Entered Cold North Open last weekend and won my first miniature painting competition gold there with this Trench Crusade Stosstruppen model I finished a couple weeks ago.

Took a break from the trimjob and painted most of the banestrike bolter

These trims sure demand a lot out of me

Was debating whether or not I should do NMM for all the metallics when the rest of the army has been TMM so far, but 15 minutes of sketching later I might have come to a conclusion to do it anyways. The Praetor can benefit from some extra effort

Attended a huge Siege of Terra: Mortis event last weekend, 3 days of Titan filled mayhem in 2v2 Horus Heresy games with 4k point lists each

DIY Sons of Horus Destroyer Assault Squad finished and photographed. Kinda started taking a lot of shortcuts with the painting towards the end but pretty happy with the custom sculpted parts and can't wait to retry something better for the next squad

And a really rough proof of concept that a heavy bolter could be converted into a rad missile launcher witch a few extra bits

Yeah the MKVI Assaults will do nicely as the basis for my Destroyers

Just got back from the largest Finnish Horus Heresy event, The CÄMP. Had great fun and will definitely be there next year as well
