Jammies finally found the pathway up to the dresser I made for her recently. I hope she will hang out up there! Butters has claimed the cat tree and the bed, so Jammies needs a place.
All hail Butters, Queen of the Box Throne. She will be very sad when I unpack those boxes someday LOL.
What a lovely sight greeting me in the living room. (I still cannot believe I live in an apartmrnt with more than one room!)
If there is a carboard box anywhere nearby, Jammies will be glad to perch on it for you. She’s going to be sad when her “cardboard couch” is replaced with an actual couch this fall.
And that was fast, it only took 15 minutes for Jammies to appear LOL. She is pleased with herself.
Look what I did all by myself! Since my replacement I have needed help with everything—so this is a real accomplishment. It is not actually leaning I just take terrible photos—my level tells me it’s all level.
A little #Caturday nannerphone fun for Butters and Jammies. (Forgive my poor video skills and lack of editing.)
Nope you are not getting more crunchies now even though you are looking at me like this.
Hm, I think I have purchased a chair for the cats instead of a chair for me.
Lollipops for cats! The go bonkers for them (the name is not lying LOL). They’re freeze dried fish, chicken, or salmon treats on a stick.
I now have a lovely view outside my window when I work from home. Much better than the garbage cans! That field is often full of dogs, defying the NO DOGS ON FIELD signs, and after school there will be children and adults playing sports games or running around.
The Doers Club, up and at ‘em helping me work remotely. Now that I have an actual bedroom, it has become clear that this is not a supervisory situation since they cannot tell if I am working or not!
This is a cat check point: relinquish your most recent cat picture on your phone.
Perhaps my favorite part of my new place (other than the lack of mold and other ick) is that I have a TABLE WHERE I CAN EAT. No more trying to similtaneously dodge cats and juggle a plate of French toast while in a comfy chair.
Jammies would like everyone to know that the service here is awful—tuna is not provided on demand. She has a lot to say about that.
My friend made me this amazing cake for my birthday. Chocolate orange cake, caramelized dulce de leche filling with a hint of salt, and choclate ganache icing. It was also a great breakfast “meal.” I finally live somewhere that I can invite friends to!
This is not silly per se, but it’s one of our first days in our new apartment. Butters and Jammies are blissed out after rolling around on the sisal rug in the sun. Bonus pics of them with Nannerphones in our old place.
Jammies is enjoying the sunny view of the lovely park across the street!
Briefly enjoying some new smells before I go back to my hidey hole.
We’re not sure about out new house but we like this corner a lot!
Today is the day! The poor dears had to sit in their prisons for 2 hours while strangers took all our belongings away!
