working on hurticulture, a co-op survival horror
ive been doing lots of little bug fixes, but im very happy with the way the environments are coming along.
wired this up today, need to set up a microcontroller to handle the bottom panel.
hmm it might be time to start utilizing composition for my generated structures...
starting work on the enemy pathfinding. got a basic navmesh set up with the generated chunks & the ship. im sure itll need some more tweaking but it works for now.
now that i separated the gameplay and UI viewports, you can do what youve always wanted and run the game at a resolution of 96x42 without sacrificing any of the cutting-edge ui elements!!
made some progress on the hud. i dont want the player to fumble through menus, so i added a toggleable inventory panel.
made a grinder to make biofuel. unfortunately, there are so many particles that i cannot upload a gif, so here are a few photos instead.
made some changes to the hotbar. added plant quality & charging
working on the mistmire (swamp). im trying to get 3 biomes fully fleshed out in hopes of achieving an early access within the next year
taking a short break from hurticulture to work on a mage-themed fighting game. here's the geomancer - a cc-heavy short-range bruiser
i feel like its more about the accent on the B (same as the one on the D), and the primary & accent color being almost identical. its too many similarities to chalk it up to a coincidence.
this is something ive been looking forward to for a long time. made a LOT OF PROGRESS on the terminal. its basically finished, im just working on polish at this point best part, since its not an actual UI element, your friends can look at the screen too! #godot
made a mycelium auditory network 🍄🍄🟫. speak into one patch of mycelium and the 'shrooms will carry your voice throughout the map! a cheap (albeit a bit inconvenient) way to speak with your friends who are far away
decided the old texture on the ship was abysmal, so i made a quick metal panel shader.
finally getting around to throwing it all together. experimenting with some shaders. i like how this looks, but it feels a little too lethal company inspired.
power cell, used for taking plants (ephemeral) and turning them into energy (can be stored indefinitely), which can then be used to do... things! 💡⚡
