Lmaoooooo RIP
Out for a walk and someone a few block away from me has literal dead birds (corvids) staked to the grass a over a neatly manicured golf course looking lawn. WHAT THE FUCK.
Snagged new monitors today from work since my home.Space is bigger now. Dell UP3017's, SO Nice to have the 8:5(16:10) screen ratio. Loving the little bit of extra real-estate. Oh and the massive gamut capability increase is very welcome also, but I don't wanna put anyone to sleep with color stuffs.
My roomate just used brown RIT dye to make her light orange tights match the shade of deep orange she is painting herself (Tony the tiger) and I couldnt be more impressed. Worked perfectly. Madness. You think you know colors until someone else *actually does* 😂😂
It's the weirdest thing, I'm driving in a urban area, not even suburban, on a major roadway six Lanes wide. Windows are cracked open and I just got the heaviest whiff of bear. If you've never smelled bear, imagine wet dog plus dumpster juice. That's a bear. Really weird place to smell that tho.. 🤷
Finding out the Chinese LLM model Kimi, which performs on par with top Anthropic models, is actually OPEN SOURCE, just blew my noggin open. Wild. Zero excuses for America. Remind me again why we're stealing everything, then welding the hood shut so nobody can tinker??
NPR playing Gojira between segments lmao. Someone at kuow has a lot of the same taste in music as myself and they sneak a ton of little instrumentals in that I recognize from metal and Prog bands
Just watched a family of four walk into the local "walk-in bikini coffee shop" which is basically a strip club for one. I was really hoping the light was going to stay red enough for me to see them come back out but alas. That must have been quite a surprise when they got inside. Yes it's sketch af
Using Blender always feels like trying to use a toothpick stuffed in the middle of a massive Swiss Army knife, but you can only get the tip of the toothpick between your teeth because all the other tools are bulky and in the way. Yeah. That exact feeling. Every. Time.
Slotted to work on fully 3d modelling a pre-designed decorative exterioir temperature and humidity sensor for our building information modelling system today, but will be working the grill instead. Well.. 5 grills. (Company BBQ)
All these damn DEI bike lanes keep turning my manly diesel engines to gay frogs! I demand president Trump do something about this!!!
Jimothy is the CRX of the racoon world
I present: A breast, 3d scanned then 3d printed full size as a sculpting base etc. Definitely not assembling a girlfriend one print at a time 🤞
Modern dinosaur rips bright green arthopod from the earth, and after momentary struggle, continues to collect nesting twigs.
The taper fit is a tad too tight and I bent the axles a bit forcing the axles into the wheels, so another tool to push the rims down on center will be in order next lol. 0.4mm nozzle print on textured bed so wheels don't move smoothly, but they do move.
concurrently designing tooling too of course. a wheel gap tool and axle length cutting aid.
I added a Sat/GPS antenna now too lol. helps break up the silhouette a bit.
The assembled card car in question. I lost the hood scoop so I used a bit of the card corner. That's one bonus I guess.
What's your opinion on models that print as "cards", where faux injection molding rails surround the parts, where small parts models are concerned? I tested it on this model and to be honest it was a pain trimming all the "sprues" (which I also made way too thin).
