Got these Iroquois Skunk Pole beans in the ground today. A little late but I didn't have a trellis for them until yesterday. Hoping the ants in the garden soil don't eat them all before they sprout.
Behold the beginning of my potato empire! Dug these up super early bc they were crowding my collards. Looking forward to having a big bowl of purple mashed potatoes later on. 😄

My wife's peonies are pretty happy. This is the first year they didn't flop over as soon it bloomed so I guess we're doing something right.

Planted a few things the other day. Black carrots, red carrots, cabbage, and eggplant. Now, we wait.
Not a lot going on in my garden ATM but the Candy Crab tree I just planted already has blooms on it. So that's something. Oh and my strawberries are waking up. ☺️
Not to brag or anything but the Candy Crab applecrab tree I planted a couple weeks ago is already blooming. I don't expect any fruit this year but it's still nice to see she's happy in her new home.
My brand new Candy Crab tree is already blooming and seems quite happy to enjoy 3 days of rain. One of the best looking trees I've ever gotten through the mail. Well packed and very healthy.
Okay so I planted 6 collards and 6 mustards bc we like our greens. Also planted 2 big pouches of crimson clover and native wildflower mix. Expecting 3 days of rain so it seemed like a good time to get stuff in the ground.
She's earned a well-deserved rest. Sometimes that's the last, best gift we can give our fur babies. I choose to believe that we will all be together again someday. Cherish these last hours and comfort her in whatever way seems best.
