This National Indigenous History Month, TeamUHN gathered at UHN’s Princess Margaret Cancer Centre for an event led by the Toronto Central Regional Indigenous Cancer Program. Teachings and performances highlighted Inuit and Métis perspectives, prompting reflection on culturally safe cancer care.

Diagnosed with HIV in 1986, musician Billy Newton-Davis was told it was a "death sentence". Today, with advances in treatment and care from UHN’s HIV and Immunodeficiency Clinic, he’s still performing, recording and aging well. Read more: https://bit.ly/4fafH4u
